Parkview Shootout Rules - 2005

1. A two hour time limit will be in effect for all games. If an inning starts and the home team is
    behind, the inning will be completed.

2. An eight run rule after five complete innings will be used.

3. High school rules will be observed with the following exceptions:
    - no pitching limitations
    - no jewelry rule

4. No protests will be allowed.

5. Teams should be at the field 30 minutes before their game time. If a game runs over because
    of extra innings, the next game will begin 10 minutes after completion of that game.

6. Any game tied at the completion of 9 innings will count as 1/2 games won and 1/2 games lost.

7. No pre-game infield allowed after the first games of the day.

8. Home team will be determined by coin toss.

9. Please do not allow players to hit short toss into the fences at the various sites. Use of
    tunnels at the sites for batting practice is at the discretion of the head coaches of those

    particular schools.

10. Every effort will be made to complete the tournament in case of inclimate weather. If the
      tournament is canceled because of weather before Saturday, refunds will be made after the
      expenses on a per game basis. No refunds will be made after Saturday.

11. No coolers will be allowed inside the gates at the fields.
