Coach Chan Brown is in his fourth year as Parkview's
Varsity Head Coach. He is a graduate of Tucker High School in Tucker,
Georgia and went on to play baseball at Hillsborough CC in Tampa, Florida and
then at Georgia State University in Atlanta. After college, he played a
brief stint of independent minor league baseball.
He began his teaching and coaching career at Burke County
High School in Waynesboro, Georgia in 1998-1999. Then he became the head
baseball coach at Elbert County High School in Elberton, Georgia where he
also coached football from 1999-2002. He relocated to Northwest Whitfield
High School in Dalton, Georgia where he coached baseball and football in
2003. He was Parkview's JV Coach in 2004.
Chan now teaches Physical Education at
Parkview High School. He also coaches varsity and junior varsity football at
Parkview.
Coach Brown is married to Teaneal Brown of Elberton,
Georgia. They are the proud parents of three-year-old Cade Brown.

Coach Steve Westmoreland is in his third year at
Parkview High School. He will serve as Varsity
Assistant Head Coach and JV Head Coach. He is a 1996 graduate of
LaGrange High School, and played college baseball at Central Alabama
Community College and the University of West Georgia.
He began his teaching and coaching career at Elbert
County High School in 2001-2002 serving as Head Baseball Coach from
2002-2005 and Head Softball Coach from 2003-2005.
Steve teaches World History at Parkview High School.
He also serves as the Head Coach of the Parkview Fastpitch Softball Team.
Coach Westmoreland is married to Amber Westmoreland of
Snellville. They are the proud parents of Hailey Anne Westmoreland,
born Feb 14, 2007.

Coach Palmer
brings a wealth of talent to the Parkview Baseball Team where he is working
with Varsity pitchers.
David pitched for
ten years in the major leagues with the Montreal Expos, Atlanta Braves,
Philadelphia Phillies and Detroit Tigers. On April 22, 1984, he pitched a
five-inning perfect game (rain shortened) against St. Louis. He also hit
five major league home runs. In 1986, David was named Atlanta Braves Pitcher
of the Year. In 2004 he was inducted into the Glens Falls, NY Baseball Hall
of Fame.
David married
Beverly Richey in October, 1979 and they have three children; John, Liza and
Leah.

Assistant Coach Joel Bridges is
from Decatur and attended Clarkston and Loganville High School. He played
football at Western Carolina University and finished school at Georgia
Southern University with a degree in Business Education. He teaches
Computer Applications I & II, International Business, Management and
Standards and Business Law.
This is Coach Bridges third year coaching baseball at
Parkview and he is directly responsible for the infielders on all three
levels. He was a Varsity baseball assistant at Sprayberry and Woodstock
High Schools for three and five years respectively and the Head JV coach in both
programs. Coach Bridges also coaches football for Parkview as the Varsity
Secondary coach (4th year). He was formally the defensive
coordinator at Sprayberry.
Coach Bridges is married to Shannon Day Bridges of
Stone Mountain who works for the American Cancer Society. They have a 4
year old son named Jacob and a year old old daughter named Parker Grace.

Coach Roy Massey, also known as "Chief," is
a varsity assistant who helps all of the teams. He taught Industrial Arts at Parkview
from 1978 until his retirement in 1994. During that time and beyond, he
helped coach football for the Panthers, and has been the head coach of the 9th
grade baseball program until 2 years ago. Prior to coming to Parkview, Coach Massey was the head
baseball coach at Dunwoody High School. Coach Massey is a graduate of Southern
Mississippi University.
Chief is married to Ada Jeanne and they have two daughters, Trish and Leigh
and a son, Vince. Coach Massey's grandchildren are Morgan, Banks (also known as "Little
Chief"), Wesley, Pearson, Coates and Lily Claire.

Coach Bo Brison is in his third year teaching and
coaching at Parkview. This season he will serve as the Head 9th Grade Baseball
coach and will oversee the infield play. Coach Brison will also assist with
the infield on all three levels.
He is a 2000 graduate of Parkview. He
graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2005 with a degree in
Social Science Education and a minor in Athletic Coaching. In addition to
baseball, Coach Brison serves as a varsity basketball assistant and is the
9th grade boys basketball coach. He teaches U.S. History and World History.
He looks forward to contributing to the winning tradition of Parkview
baseball. |

Coach Joey Farah is
in his first year with the Parkview Baseball team in which he will serve
as an assistant 9th grade coach, and work primarily with the pitchers
and catchers. He is a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School in
Lawrenceville, GA and went on to play baseball at Brewton Parker
College. He is in his second year of
teaching at Parkview High School, in which he teaches Special Education
and is the Softball J.V. Head Coach and Assistant Varsity Softball
Coach.
Coach Farah is married to Amy Farah of Grayson, who also teaches
Language Arts at Mill Creek High School in Braselton, GA. They currently
reside in Flowery Branch, GA.

Tony Watkins is in his first
year teaching and coaching at Parkview High School. Coach Watkins
earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from LaGrange College where
he played basketball and later served as Graduate Assistant Basketball
Coach.
Coach Watkins will assist with
Outfielders on the 9th Grade Team. He is thrilled to be a
part of Parkview Baseball. Along with his Baseball duties, Coach
Watkins also coaches basketball and teaches in the Social Studies
department here at Parkview.
He and his wife Alicia reside in
Covington, GA.
