Dacula High School

The school is located at 123 Broad Street, Dacula, GA. The baseball field is about .4 mile past the school on Hebron Church Road.

From I-85 go east on Hwy 316 about 10.5 miles to Hwy 8 (Winder Highway). Turn left on Hwy 8 proceed about 1.8 mile to the first traffic light (either called McMillian Road or Broad Street). Turn left, cross the railroad tracks, and immediately turn left onto Hebron Church Road (also called 2nd Ave). The High School will be on the right. Proceed past the High School about .4 mile to the field. Limited parking (the last time I went to a game there there was only handicap parking allowed at the field). You may have to return to the school to find suitable, legal parking.

One easy way to avoid a possible tie-up in "downtown" Dacula and the railroad tracks is to come in the back way. Turn left onto Fence Road off of GA-316 (about .2 miles before Hwy 8). Proceed 1.4 miles and turn right onto Hebron Church Road. The ball field will be about .5 mile on the left and the school will be another .4 miles past the field.

Hint: Northbound I-85 and eastbound Hwy 316 can be very congested in the late afternoon and early evening.  One alternative is to take US-29 through Lawrenceville to the intersection of Hwy 316 and Hwy 8.  A good Gwinnett County map could also be used to find surface streets that would avoid most of US-29 and Hwy 316, preferably US-29 to Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road to Old Norcross Road, to northbound Duluth Highway (Pike Street) to Hurricane Shoals Road to where it intersects with Hwy 316.
